        WHO AM I?  

March 2009 until present:  Instructor/administrator/President of the RESET Program, serving "at risk" youth to save them a criminal record while making a difference.  Resetting attitudes and behaviors so our youth can achieve their goals.  See program details on RESET page of this site.

March 2012 until present - Armed Security Officer for Homeland Canine Security, Wye Mills, Maryland.  Providing facility and property protection for businesses and homeowners as well as providing protection and escorts for professionals and dignataries.  Providing security for functions and events.

June 1 until present - Full Time Security Officer for the Maryland Stadium Authority, Baltimore, Maryland.  Charged with the security of Oriole Park at Camden Yards Stadium providing 24/7 security monitoring of the facilities, security cameras, supervising security officers and providing event security at the stadium, museum and warehouse.

May 2007 until present: Public Speaker.  Topics include: Underage Drinking & Driving, Bullying, Distracted/Aggressive Driving, Seniors on the MOVE, Parents held Accountable and Truancy.

February 2007 until present: Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPS) instructor.  Training bartenders and servers of alcohol.

May 2007 until present: Alive at 25 Instructor for the Chesapeake Region Safety Council.

October 2011 until June 2012 - employed as the "At Risk" Coordinator by the Queen Anne's County Board of Education.  Providing individual assistance and counseling to high school ninth grade students to avoid their entering the Alternative School or failing to graduate.

July 2007 until September 2010 - employed as the Truancy/Attendance Officer by the Queen Anne's County Board of Education.  Monitoring attendance, conducting meetings with parents and students with attendance concerns and when necessary, completing Statement of Charges for Court proceedings.

1999 - retired from the Maryland State Police after 26 years of service.  Prior to retiring, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Officer educating our youth about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  In 1996 until 2004, introduced and administered an early intervention education program to 18 counties in Maryland.

Instructor/Certifications:

RESET Program, intervention education for young offenders, "at risk", between the ages of 13-24 who are suspected or involved with drugs and/or alcohol.  Parents may enroll their children without an arrest taking place.

Alive at 25 Defensive Driving Education (MVA approved DIP) classroom presentation for young drivers between the ages of 15-24.

Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPs) for servers and bar tenders working in the alcohol industry.  

Presentations: "Underage Drinking and Impaired Driving" information to our newest drivers in an attempt to provide additional information to allow them to a better understanding of the dangers of alcohol when driving and to educate them on traffic safety facts and important information.

Public Speaker:  I have a message for our teens to allow them to change their world and ours.  Aggressive/Distracted Driving presentation to young drivers and also parents of young drivers.  "Underage Drinking & Driving" presetations with Stacey Gede and Jennifer Edwards along with additional messages with Tom McKnight in presenting motovational messages to our young people relating to Drinking and Driving.  We'd like to come and speak to your group and challenge our youth to be drug free in order to reach their goals!  TNT = 3 D.

Participant in Victim Impact Panels presented by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

Member of the Kent Island Elks Lodge since 1996.  Drug Awareness Chairman for the Kent Island Elks Lodge #2576 since 2007.   Annual "Safety Day" Chairman since 2003.
