1999 - retired from the Maryland State Police after 26 years of service. Prior to retiring, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Officer educating our youth about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. In 1996 until 2004, introduced and administered an early intervention education program to 18 counties in Maryland.
February 2006 - September 2011, employed as the Community Traffic Safety Program Coodinator for Kent, Cecil and Queen Anne's counties providing educational programs related to safety and traffic related programs ie; Pedestrian Safety, Bicycle Safety, School Bus Safety, and working with police agenies with funding for enforcement efforts wth reducing injuries and fatalities along our roadways.
Certified instructor for:
RESET Program, intervention education for young offenders suspected or involved with drugs and/or alcohol. Parents may enroll their children without an arrest taking place.
Alive at 25 Defensive Driving Education (MVA approved DIP) classroom presentation for young drivers between the ages of 15-24.
Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPs) for servers and bar tenders working in the alcohol industry.
Smoking Cessation providing assistance thru education and support groups to stop smoking. Will present program in your local business or community group.
Seniors on the MOVE (Mature Operators vehicular Education) Drivers 55 and older have an opportunity to better understand how vehicles have changed, roadways have changes and most important the changes that are occuring in their bodies which may contribute to being a "High Risk" driver.
Carfit Coordinator - Certified through AAA Mid-Atlantic, assuring our older drivers fit their vehicles and are aware of safety features within the vehicle.
Critical 60 Education for parents of young drivers.

Presentations: "Underage Drinking and Impaired Driving" information to our newest drivers in an attempt to provide additional information to allow them to a better understanding of the dangers of alcohol when driving and to educate them on traffic safety facts and important information.
Public Speaker: I have a message for our teens to allow them to change their world and ours. Aggressive/Distracted Driving presentation to young drivers and also parents of young drivers. "Underage Drinking & Driving" presetations with Stacey Gede and Jennifer Edwards along with additional messages with Tom McKnight in presenting motovational messages to our young people relating to Drinking and Driving. We'd like to come and speak to your group and challenge our youth to be drug free in order to reach their goals! TNT = 3 D.
